Their failing health notwithstanding, Team Anna members remained defiant as ever as their indefinite hunger strike entered the eighth day, refusing to be hospitalised and warning of 'retribution' should the police try to force them out of Jantar Mantar.
The Delhi Police on Wednesday wrote to Team Anna's Neeraj Kumar, advising that fellow activists Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Gopal Rai - fasting for the past eight days and who doctors say needed immediate medical attention - be admitted to a hospital as soon as possible.
'You are advised to follow the doctors' recommendation and take steps for immediate hospitalisation of Arvind Kejriwal, Gopal Rai and Manish Sisodia to prevent harm to their lives, failing which you would be squarely responsible for any untoward incident,' additional commissioner of police (New Delhi) K.C. Dwivedi said in the letter.

We indians are fools. Always demand that good ppl should enter politics. Now when they are ready then we are still finding faults. Shame on us. Don't deserve good governance bcos of our attitude and pessimism.
